Comforts of Italy housing is available both to exchange students who are looking for housing independently, and to students coming to Bologna through organized study programs that work with us. We also welcome young professionals and interns.

We provide everything you need for a comfortable, easy stay. Fully furnished apartments in great neighborhoods, with everything included in the price:

If you're a student or intern looking for housing in Bologna on your own:

You can start the process by sending a reservation request (if you received a school-specific reservation link through your university, please sign up there directly!).

Students living with Comforts of Italy through our institutional partners will be placed in apartments according to the specific needs of their program, and in most cases will not need to sign up with Comforts of Italy directly.

If you are a faculty member or other organizer of a university, study abroad, or study-travel program and would like to learn more about housing your group(s) in our apartments, please contact us.

...What Comes Next?

If you are reserving your housing with us on your own:

1. If you are reserving your housing with us on your own, we'll first send you a price quote based on your housing dates and preferences. We'll ask you for a little more information about yourself to help us in the housing process and will send you an email explaining how to make your first payment through our online portal.

In general, pricing will be:
- Security deposit (equal to one month’s rent)
- First and last months’ rent
- One-time administration fee: €100 (until 9/30/24)

Rent includes all Comforts of Italy services, including high-speed wifi, 24/7 emergency service, and €50 / month utilities.

2. Once you make your first payment, your reservation will be confirmed! We'll send you your apartment assignments and apartment-mate contacts approximately two weeks before check-in.

3. When you arrive, we’ll meet you in the apartment for a brief orientation where we'll give you your keys and apartment entrance information. Then you'll be off to your new home in Bologna!
