Here’s how it works

It’s simple to reserve a room and move in. Simply fill in the Registration Form and send the initial payment (Registration Fee + Security Deposit + 1st and last months’ Rent). Leases begin on September 1, 2024. 12-month leases expire on August 31, 2025, and 10-month leases expire on June 30, 2025. A reservation is created once we respond that we’ve received your reservation and initial payment.

Cleaning service and air conditioning are optional extras.

REgiSTRATion FEe

We charge a One-Time Administration Fee for expenses related to the processing of your application, showing apartments, and move-in.

JOHNS HOPKINS SAIS STUDENTS: ENJOY A 75% DISCOUNT FROM OUR NORMAL €400 REGISTRATION FEE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2024. Until then, you pay a Registration Fee of only €100.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

We’ll hold a one-month security deposit, which is assurance against damages to the apartment. We’ll refund this within 30 days of the end of your lease.

The security deposit is one month’s rent.

1st and Last months’ RENT

Rent prices vary based on the room you select and the contract length you choose (10 months or 12 months)

First and last months’ rent must be paid to create a reservation.

Credit Card Payments

Credit Card Payments: You can pay via credit card on this page (you’ll need to add a 3% credit card processing fee). Because we offer many options (e.g. the rooms have different costs which are also adjusted if you take a 10- or 12-month lease), we’ve created a €25 “Payment Unit” for your convenience. Simply take the amount you need to pay and divide it by 25 to figure out how many Payment Units to remit. For a room costing €850 per month, that would be:

€850 Security Deposit
€850 First month’s rent
€850 Last month’s rent
€2,550 = TOTAL

Divide this by 25, and add 102 “Payment Units” to your cart. Then add any options, the Registration Fee, and the 3% Credit Card Processing Fee.

Wire Transfers
